Thread: Switching my Telus HTC hero while on contract?

I am in the 8th month of my 3 year contract with telus. I have an HTC hero from telus with a 50 dollar data plan. I wanted to know if I could switch my phone for another data phone free of charge, if not how much would I have to pay to switch it?

If your still in contract, and you wanted to switch to a different phone, you would have to pay the outright price of the phone - for example, if ou had the hero on a contract and data plan, and you wanted to get say a blackberry bold 9700 which retails without contract for 499, you would have to pay the 499.
