    Is it possible to buy a cell phone by myself and then take it to rogers

    or telus to get their plans? Because i don't like the phones that they are offering.

    Yes. Actually, Rogers I believe is a Canadian GSM company. I work for AT&T and several customers came to us for phones through them. They would need to be unlocked, but it isn't hard to do so. You can actually buy unlocked GSM phones through comp usa online. If I am correct, I think Rogers just started selling the iphone. You don't like it?

    Yes as long as it is either Unlocked and Uses the same technology that they use
    I.E. CDMA or GSM(SIM cards)
    It doesnt necessarily have to be unlocked if it is from that company
    but if its not then it would have to be unlocked
    Like if you bought a phone from verizon to use with them then it would have to be unlocked
