I want a new phone with Telus, is this possible?

Not the last Christmas but the one before that (roughly a year ago) I got a phone for Christmas. I got a crappy phone because my mom didn't want to pay and she got me a 3-year contract. I hate this phone and i want to get a new one. i was wondering if you need to get out of your contract or if i can just buy my self a new phone? Still at the regular price of course. And like i said I am with Telus. And a side note should i get the LG Dare or Voyager?

You can buy a phone from TELUS (at full price) OR you can go to Walmart/Futureshop/Bestbuy and purchase a TELUS Pay&Talk phone (cuz they're cheaper than buying them from TELUS directly) OR you can get a used TELUS phone from ebay/kijiji. It doesn't matter which option you choose because TELUS can replace your crappy phone's ESN with whatever phone you decide on. It'll cost you $10 online or $25 if you call-in to have it done. Keep in mind that the "Activation Credit" that comes with the p&t phones has no value to you and you can't sell it because it is tied to that phones' ESN.

I have never owned a LG phone so I can't comment on which is better.
