i don't want to surf the net or set up email
just wanna make calls/text
what's the next step to set that thing up

so the question isn't how i can return it,.. how can i set it up.

If telus phone has a simcard in it, go buy a simcard and take the old one out. If no simcard, then you cant make the change,
