'Service Terms' are what you agree to when you sign a contract. They define how and what you will be billed for. They also define the legality of the contract and your commitment to Telus. By signing your contract you 'agreed' to all of those terms because it is a LEGAL document. Service Terms don't change according to the customer except for the length of the contract itself which is determined at the beginning. In the future, Telus may modify the terms but the modifications only apply to new or re-newing clients and existing contracts stay the same until they expire.
It's OBVIOUS that you want to remove yourself from Telus but there are only 3 ways to do so #1 pay the cancellation fee
#2 transfer your contract to another person
#3 be dead and send a copy of the death certificate to Telus (no kidding)
You are wasting your time trying to come up with excuses to let you out of your contract because they have heard them all before and that is why the Service Terms are written the way they are. Sorry.
