    How do I get out of a Telus contract?

    I hate being on a plan, I use my phone way to much.. I want out! HELP!
    termination fee? and also, i only have 4 months left on it.

    One word...wait! 4 months isn't very long, once you are out, you can go with any cell phone provider you choose and next time, save up and purchase a new phone outright so you can go monthly! :-)

    i know if you go out in a contract.. you have to pay for termination fee...

    so if you want out.. pay the termination fee..

    Your ETF would be 0. The sticky says " X however many months are left..." but the minimum fee is 0. I would wait it out because you can use the phone right up to the end since you're going to pay at least 0 to get rid of it. Don't forget to call TELUS 30 days before your end date and give them your notice of cancellation. All Canadian carriers require this 30 day notice.

    You pay $20 for each remaining month to a minimum of $100

    So you have 4 months... that's $80
    But regardless their minimum is $100, so you have to pay $100 to cancel.
