also whats an 'exchange charge' because i was charged 500 dollars for an exchange charge.

I have no idea what an Exchange Charge is. '5 Faves' comes in two versions, LOCAL = lets you make unlimited calls to and from your designated favourite numbers in your Local Calling Area, OR, NATIONAL = unlimited calls to and from your designated favourite Canadian numbers. Neither version will allow you to call Internationally for free.
TELUS... The Future IS Friendly, just not yet.
