Cant receive text messages Telus?

Okay, I can send them and i send one to my email and it worked but when i reply i dont get the message on my phone. Also i cant go on the web with my phone because it says i have a "to low" account balence. But my account balence is $25. I have turned off my cellphone for 30 mintes and turned it back on and waited 30 minutes but it still didnt work. Also i dont like calling telus cause the ladies that work for customer service keep hittin on me.... So yea please help me
