Thread: can the phone company (telus) mix up your number so that u txt from a different one

by accident? ok this girl i met online wanted to txt me ,, i said ok, (i know stupid of me) and she was txting me so much during the day then suddenly she was txting me from this new number that i have never seen but carying on the conversation and signing the txt like she does,, so i responded to her txts and then this dude starts txting me and saying who's this and i believe him cuz he didnt sign the way she does,,, is she trying to dupe me? she's using a telus phone and she told me she spoke to them and they are figuring it out,,, i know someone can do this online , just want to see if this is b.s and that i shouldn't believe her,,

This has been known to happen and it is not just from TELUS phones. All carriers have had this happen in the past. Call 611 from your cell and have the tech rep troubleshoot for you.
