i have an unlocked phone from telus and i need to know if i can switch to 7 eleven and just use thier prepaid plans because telus really suckss

TELUS is a CDMA carrier and 7-11 uses GSM so it won't work. Your TELUS phone can only be used with TELUS' services since none of the Canadian CDMA providers will allow a phone from another carrier to be activated on their system.
TELUS... The Future IS Friendly, just not yet.
