Rogers uses GSM and none of the TELUS networks (PCS, iDen, HSPA) will support it.
TELUS... The Future IS Friendly, just not yet.
No. Not yet anyway. Telus is transitioning to a different technology, but right now Telus works on the CDMA cellular network while Rogers works on the GSM network. These aren't interchangeable and a Rogers phone won't work on the Telus network and vice versa.
Isn't that what the previous post said?
Kinda sorta. Just to clarify, TELUS is ADDING a new technology to its current offering of CDMA (PCS) and iDen (MiKE). The HSPA network should be up and running in a few weeks and will offer high-speed data service as well as voice service. Phones/devices will be network specific and are not inter-changeable. Some GSM phones will work with TELUS' HSPA network.
