On the Fido website it says:
buy phone on 2 year agreement
buy phone without contract
buy phone on prepaid
buy phone only
If I "bought the phone only", could I use it on any network? Specifially Telus.
No...
a] Fido locks their phones, but they can be easily unlocked to work with other network providers
b] Telus, Koodo, Bell, Solo, Virgin... those companies use CDMA which doesn't take any form of sim cards or have any form of simcards...
Fido and Telus are 2 different types of networks... It's like an apple vs an orange... they're different... but they're still fruits... like fido and telus are cellular providers.
