I am interested in getting the blackberry tour from telus they say that i need a data plan which minimum is but i like the plan i have now is there anyway i can get the phone? besides buying it elsewhere
also if i get a regular sim card from my crappy phone the motorola w580 and put it in the black berry would it work

The Tour is CDMA and not compatible to the HSPA network which uses sim cards. The only way to get around the data plan is to buy the phone at the non-contract price.
TELUS... The Future IS Friendly, just not yet.
