In their last outing, the San Antonio Spurs lost to the Los Angeles Clippers. After the game, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich called his team soft. On Wednesday, the Spurs bounced back in Boston by handing the Celtics a 112-100 defeat.

Tony Parker led the way with 26 points and six assists, while shooting 12-for-17 from the field. Tim Duncan added 20 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.

The Celtics 22 points and 15 assists from Rajon Rondo, however it wasn’t nearly enough. The Spurs scored 56 points in each half and shot 58.4% for the game and outrebounded the Celtics by a final count of 41-25.

The win improves the Spurs to 9-3 on the season, while the Celtics drop to 6-6.
