I’ve been a die-hard fan of the software
SnagIt for a couple of years now. I use it so much I’m at the point now where I’d probably go crazy if I didn’t have it available. However, after hearing about feedback from people who have used
Skitch.com to grab screen capture, it might push me to get a Mac and replace my
SnagIt addiction with
Skitch.com instead.
Skitch.com is currently available for Mac’s only. I’ll have to tell my brother about this one I guess. Watch the video below for some more details.
One component that
Skitch.com seems to have over
SnagIt is the Internet based sharing and social aspect of the application.
Skitch.com does all the basics you’d expect from a good screen capture utility (screen shots, iSight camera capture, annotate images, doodle on images, resize, crop, etc.) , but also combines that with integrating well into
Skitch.com ,
flickr or your
.Mac account.
