    what happens if my ATT phone breaks before my plan is up?

    my phone broke. completely... its totaled... but my two yr. contract isnt up. could i get a completely new phone with the contract price?

    it means you buy a new phone. unless you bought the insurance.

    If you didn't purchase the insurance, you still have options. AT&T has a warranty program. Your phone might qualify for replacement under that program, even though your contract is not yet up.

    You should give them a call and explain what happened. They may be able to replace your phone for a fee (usually less than the cost of a new phone, but sill a chunk of change).

    For warranty replacement the device would have to be under a year old. You could be eligible for an early upgrade if you are 11 months in to a 12 month contract or 21 months in to a 24 month contract. If none of these apply you still may have another option but that would require management approval. Call 1-800-331-0500 (Customer Service) and inquire as to what options are available to you
