Tmobile Wing unlocked to use ATT (cingular)?

If I buy an unlock code from ebay for my tmobile wing, can it be unlocked to work with AT&T? I have someone who's interested in buying it but to use with Cingular/ATT. I'm not quite sure how the unlock works or if an unlock would allow the wing to be used on the cingular network. Help!!
