I can't change it back? help!? I have a older blackjack and cant get my phone back to 3G, it says with an E at the top not the 3G like it used to

Hi I found on the device tutorial in the at&t web site. Just to let you know I went to www.wireless.att.com and clicked on personal and on the orange bar on the top of the screen there is a support tab and you can click on that and click on your type of phone and search for any question you may have. Here is the specifice tutorial.
