    do ATT 5.8GHz Expandable Cordless Phone System (E5917) work in India?

    great thanks ...can i use a 2.4 GHz instead of 5.8 GHz? Does it work as well?

    yes, it will work, but why not get the best phone system you can use in India and be really sure that it has the best sound....like the Panasonic DECT 6.0!!!

    Yes. It will work. Any cordless phone will work in India but threre are two cordless telephone problem in India that you may experience.

    1. AC power variation in India is wide that normal DC adaptor won't work properly. Result is noise and intermittent operation. You should use an adaptor designed for India.

    2. Caller ID detection in India is India may not be the same as the US. Result is the number of the caller may not be displayed correctly.
