Is it possible to find out what my child's text messages say by calling my

carrier? I have ATT. Thanks? Basically my daughter deleted all of her text messages when I told her to come home one night. I believe she was out drinking, and I went to look through her phone to see her text messages so that I could see if they would be of any help, but they were gone. I want to know if there is any way to see what those text messages said. Is that possible? If so, how do I go about doing so? Thanks!
I know I can see the logs, but do the logs contain what was actually said in the text message, or just the time/date/number the text was to?

If I don't already have detailed billing, can I still check what was said? And thank you very much for all of these answers, they have all been very helpful.

thats invading her privacy okay its your daughter but that is going too far. im sure u wouldnt want your mum doing something like that. u will lose her trust forever and she will probably rebel even more against u

Of course you can, just go to the cell phone carrier and ask for a print out they will have all the call and text messaging logs.
