iPhone 3G / ATT - First bill is INSANE... :( other iphone users share my pain???

but each bill after returns to $115/mo or so....

Seems they did alot of pro-rated charges , and 2 months worth of service, and activation fee etc...and taxes.

It just sucks that this first bill is more then my car payment,,ugh.

does anyone know why this is like this the first month, where they delay billing? I got my phone the day after it came out,, I think that is July 12th? or so(a saturday)
