How can I do this? I used my Nokia 9300 for work, on ATT. Now that I have a new phone, I want to use it as my Personal Phone, on T-mobile.

I tried simply just swapping SIM cards, but forgot they have something called carrier lock.

How do I get this code off my phone. If you could provide instructions.

Can I just go to ATT and demand they remove it? (Would be wonderful)

Good news, the Nokia 9300 is simple to unlock for free

Go to
www.unlockme.co.uk
Click on forum on the left, enter GSM forum
Create a free account (name and password)
Create an unlock request post in the Nokia unlock forum
You will get the REAL unlock code with instructions from the sites Admin or a site unlocker. They are the only ones that can give you the code so it will be correct

Also, please do not try getting the code yourself through Nokia calculaters, they are outdated and the codes will be wrong. The site above is professional unlockers and the service is offered free
