How to switch phone numbers from Cingular to Sprint?
I have a Samsung Blackjack II rightnow and I am maybe switching to the Instinct with Sprint. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could switch my numbers over to this phone? I hate having to type them in everytime. Please help...
They have a little machine they put both sim cards in that is supposed to put all the numbers on the new sim card. It is painless and works when switching to sprint from cingular.
Make sure you have your account number from cingular when you go to port your number. It takes all the hassle out of it.
Do you use Outlook Contacts? If so you should be able to create a `Contacts' folder for your Blackberry and `backup' your address book numbers and info to it. Then `restore' them to the Instinct when you get it. Might have a few different fields, but the names and numbers should transfer.
