Does the Pantech Matrix (ATT) brake easily?

I am thinking about buying this phone with my own money,but I was reading the customer reviews about this phone and 2 people said the top part of the phone slid right off. If you own/owned i would really appreciate your comments.

No, the MATRIX does not break easily. my friend is REALLY clumsy, and she has had her phone DROPPED it like 10 times, and it hasnt been recked.
and supsisinlhgly there are no scratches either.
OHH, and the phone is very good quality.
i use to have one. but , i didnt ike the buttons on them.
