Thread: does anyone know about cingular cellaphones?

well it's sorta off topic but i have a pay as you go phone for cingular and i was wondering if it matters wat phone i have. For example say if i want a blackjack, could i just put my simcard in there and it works or do i have to buy the plan that comes with the phone.

i would appreciate it if someone new anything about it or has dealed with this situation.

Basically when you buy a phone plan and a contract and what not your buying the simcard and its activation details etc. It usually comes with a phone at a good price cause that's mostly who they sell it to you. But in the end, yes you can take out your sim card and put it in another phone and it'll work. I've done this when my parents took away my phone as a punishent.. kinda ruins the point but hey! They didn't specify that I had to turn in the sim card too. I've switched phones with friends just for change a couple of times. Usually the phone are more expensive though if you have to buy them without a contract etc. Hoped that help! =)
