Thread: cingular problem/question?

well heres my problem. i can upgrade my phone next month with cingular so i was looking at getting a new smart phone just cause i like the querty key boards and the internet capabilites.i was trying to decide wither i should go with the att tilt or a blackberry pearl 8120. they both have wifi so i was thinking about just doing that so i didnt have to get a data plan for another 30 or 40 dollars a month. but then i saw somewhere that i would have to get the data plan to be able to use wifi on any cingular phone that i would get. is there any way to get any cingular wifi capable phone without having to pay the extra $$$ every month just to be able to use the internet.
