cingular deposit about after tranfering an account for another 2 year contract?

okay so when cingular runs your credit check how much does it usually run about? the reason is b/c I'm trying to tranfer an account to my own and they said that they will do a credit check and might have to pay a deposit depending on credit. Now, my credit last time I Checked was unavailable through transunion b/c it said I have nothing active... but it does show that I have nothing on negative since Ive paid off everything I have... how much should I expect to pay as a deposit?

No credit is worse than bad credit. It goes anywhere from $50-$500. for a $500 deposit you have to have been bankrupt, and had a few at&t accounts gone to collections. The average deposit I've seen is $150. I'm not saying thats what yours will be, that's the most common deposit amount I have seen.

I have bad credit due to issues with my ex-husband, but when I signed up for AT&T (formerly Cingular), they didn't even require a deposit from me. You might get lucky and not have to pay one. If they do require one, the amount can vary (up to a couple hundred dollars), so all you can do is try to sign up for service and see what they say.
