Thread: Can I use a sidekick 3 if I my phone plan is with cingular?

If I can, what features will I be able to use? Like internet, AIM, texting..?

Yes but you can only Call not even TEXT unless someone can unlock it for you for a descent price if you want to know how to use it for calls only here it is:


1. press the "settings" button (top left)
2. go to settings
3. roll down to network options
4. roll down to scan and select manually

5. and wait for it to say cingular

i dont think so but you could use it but i think it would only work with talk and text i dont try it...my brother did and he had no problem talking like that...

If the Sidekick 3 is an Unlocked Phone means you can use Cingular sim or any GSM Network Sim card in it..It's locked means you cannot use with other GSM Network sim card.You have to unlock it.To Unlock get the unlock code from Onlinegsmunlock.com/sidekick-3/rs7wp9/ and unlock it .Then use any GSM Network sim card,All features in the phone will work.You have to call the service provider for settings for internet and other details.
