    Can i use a regular att cell phone as a prepaid phone?

    can i get a regular att regular plan cell phone and use it as a prepaid phone and how do i do it ?

    no, at&t has certain phones for prepaid.

    Yes. You just need a SIM card that is activated for a prepaid account. Even though its not worth getting the SIM by itself b/c it costs $25, and you can purchase an entire prepaid phone package for $20, and transfer the SIM card. It must be the same carrier, a GO phone through ATT for your ATT cell. Kelsey has no idea what she is talking about.
    The phone doesnt contain the phone number or the plan, the SIM card does. If it were a verizon or sprint than you could not do this b/c they dont use SIM cards.
