...Quickfire, Pantech, or switch to RIM?
This is for my wife. She suddenly discovered text messaging and wants a Phone, She definitely does not want an Iphone. And I think that Blackberry Pearl or Bold are an overkill for basic phone and texting. And theirs the learning curve issue.

rim is complex propel has a weird shape and the pantech is doing too much with all the sliding eveerywhere and its mostly for kids i would go with the quickfire... that is unless u are under 17
