ATT texting question?????

i have ATT and 200 text messages for it. just on my phone. i am planning on getting unlimited text messaging soon. every 25th of the month is when my new billing plan starts. i was wondering if i go online now and add unlimited text messaging. when will it activate.? i know that today is the 25th. but if i add unlimited later in the week will it activate the very second or what and only be used for the rest of that month.??? that you and if you have any more question ask and i will answer!!
