ATT internet installation trouble?

okay so i'm installing the internet from ATT to my old cpu which had gotten cleaned from a virus previously, but says that it is unable to connect to the modem when everythig is perfectly fine - the light isn't blinking, etc....

does anyone know how i can fix this?

i even tried the troubleshooting for it....
