I know people who use att dsl and though their modem might be a pain at times, most of them have been using the same modem for at least 2 -4 years.

I personally don't use att dsl, but I suggest you visiting their website for your answers, and I do believe that if you log on to the internet using att dsl, and click on help, you can chat live with an att dsl technical assistant who might be able to answer your questions.

if i get att internet and i get the modem do i have to pay a monthly fee for the modem as well an the internet and how long does the modem last before i have to get a new one can i get a att modem from like best buy and if i did would i have to call the att store and let them know i got a new one so i could get internet ????
