I have a tmobile razr that got severe water damage yesterday. I know that it can't be fixed because i've had one that got even less water damage and still wouldn't work. My friend told me that my sim card is still working though. I want to get a new phone but I don't know if I can. My mom has like a family plan for all our phones and I have unlimited texting and aim on my plan too. Would I be able to buy another phone and keep the plan I have now? Or will I have to set it up on a new plan and everything?
If you have a working sim card, all you need is a new phone that takes sim cards and you are good to go with T-mobile.
By the way, when you get your phone wet, open it and take out the battery. Then let it dry for a couple of days. Then you can try to turn it on. In this way you don't fry the circuitry while it is still damp.
