T-mobile sidekick memory card reset?

Today some idiot decided to take the memory card out of my phone. After not being able to view the pictures using other methods the memory card was placed back into my sidekick slide. After turning the phone back on NOTHING is showing up... from contacts, texts, call log, pictures, etc. What happened? Where did all my data go? Is it lost forever?

The memory card is just 64mb
