t-mobile line cancellation question????????????????????????

okay so right now im on a family plan with 4 lines
and we're dropping two lines

and its like this
2 main lines: $59.99
2 additional lines: $9.99

well my question is can i drop one of my main lines and make one of the additional lines my new main line?

simply because one of main lines is going to go on their own plan
and i need to cancel of my lines but if i cant cancel one of my main lines then i have to cancel an additional and that person will have to take over the old main line's number which could cause problems
like people calling him thinking it was the last persons number still
