...upgrade? Does an upgrade mean I get a free phone or a discount on a phone?

T-Mobile knows.

Log into My.T-mobile, and you can see your eligibility for an upgrade.

Or call T-Mobile customer service and see if you're eligible for an upgrade.

Or go to any T-Mobile retail store and see if you're eligible for an upgrade.

If you're seeing a pattern, it's intentional: go talk to T-Mobile!
