If you buy the new my touch 3g from t-mobile do you have to buy the web service?

I want to get the new my touch 3G but my mom will only buy if for me if it doesn't come with the web service + unlimited messaging!

you can get it as a upgrade or new agreement without the messaging bundle..........................all you have to do is if you upgrade online you just let it b charged to the bill...............and when you call in to reregister your phone on your account they will say you need the web but you accutally dont.............u dnt really have to call in to reregister your phone bc once you put ur sims card in it and go through the steps of setting up a gmail acct..............ur good to go...........plus you can go to the setting and switch wifi on and go online for free
