You can connect to wifi for free just think computers and iPods do it. I'm. Not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure the google maps thing would cost money especially if it's on 3G but maybe it's free on wifi.

I have an unlocked Iphone with t-mobile service. Would it cost to use wifi at...
...home/school? I don't have a data plan. Or is this free?
And would Google maps count as data and add additional cost?
