HELP! T-mobile sim card won't work in unlocked Treo 650?

I bought an unlocked treo 650 from ebay. I put in my t-mobile sim card but the phone says it doesn't work. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! It said on ebay that the phone can use GSM. Also, the phone says "No Service - SOS Only". What does that mean? PLEASE 10 POINTS!!
