Thread: Whats the current style in New York for pre-teens/teens?

I'm going to NY in April and I want to look good so I was wondering what style is in , in NY at the moment?
Like floral patterns, sailor etc?

Not SAILOR. Really, anything Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle.

Right now tight shirts with short puffy skirts are in. The shirts are worn tucked in.

Um converse, are really popular.

Sweatshirts are great.

Horizontal stripes and paisley are worn a lot too.

Yourself... but if that's not enough, then look at rue 21,wet seal, Charlotte Russe.
I recommend Charlotte Russe. it is more sophisticated. Wet seal and Rue 21 are a little more immature but still cute. A couple of other cute ones are PacSun and The Buckle.

The amazing thing about NY is that you'll find everything from Uggs and Abercrombie (eww..) to high fashion, almost avant-garde pieces. Just be yourself. If you want to be extra fashionable since NY is the fashion capital of the US, try reading fashion blogs and looking at chictopia. But remember, the important thing is that you feel good in what you wear.
