Thread: What is this fashion look called?

I don't know what "types" (as in emo, goth, preps, etc.) started this fad, but I really LOVE it. What would you call this:

Plaid, colorful scarfs, shirts, and jackets. Big random t-shirts over any color skinny jeans with Converse.

Most people who dress like this wear dark makeup and their hair is wild with highlights and stuff. I just adore this look. Please explain what this is called, who wears it, and where I can get these clothes at!

That's considered "scene" or "emo", I believe, but I find most of them cute as well. Go to Hot Topic, really any shops in the mall would have them.
