Thread: Is it possible to live in Modern Day America Without a cellphone?

Come on now, you know you have a cell phone so I washed my phone in a washer and now it is very difficult to get a hold of my mother to pick me up from school. I usually have to find a willing friend that has a cellphone, so I can borrow it.

So possible, or not?

Of course it's possible, but it's definitely convenient to have one. As you've discovered, not having one just means you have to go to more effort to get ahold of people when you need to.

I haven't had a landline in 10 years, so I wouldn't do without my cell phone, it's my only phone. Plus I can get my email on my phone and surf the net while I'm on the bus or stuck in line somewhere.

I could do without it.. but I wouldn't like to for long.
