Okay, How do i go about setting up my own Alternative Rock bar in my stuffy
old fashioned town? After seeing the answers from a question i posted i'd like to pick your brains people, on how to get a venture like this going going...
I feel that the large proportion of the subculture scene is actually unaccounted for, and not reprosented by the pubs clubs or bars in the local area.
Infact my town has 21 Hairdressers, One remaining traditional pub on the high street, a slug and lettuce, a Littentree, an O'Neills, a Sugarhut Villiage and a privatley owned wine bar. It has many coffee shops including a Nero and a Starbucks and several Italian resuarants (Pizza Express, Zizzi, Prezzo, Cafe Uno, one French(ish)- Cafe Rouge...)
My town used to have 16 traditional pubs on the high street (27 of them in 1901) including one biker rock pub which was closed (to become another trendy pub). yet it once had gigs for Pink Floyd, Led Zep, the sex pistols and many others in its heyday...
what to do? its over to the experts
Just thinking nmy town has become a stuffy new fashiooned town based around the trendy and generic
