Not only did he have 12 disciples, but he also brought a man back to life, was born from a virgin mother, and died from crucifixion.

It is suggested that this is true. Around the same time, many 'claimed' saviors popped up, like Appolonius.

Since God has dealt (intermittently, at least) with his children since the time of Adam, it makes sense that Adam's descendants could have retained many truths even after their descent into idolatry and paganism. Further, prophets such as Abraham have occasionally made quite an impression in the world; even Egyptian religion could have been influenced by Abram and his teachings. Cultural borrowing exists. Deal with it.

If anything, Jesus was a fundamentalist. He sought to remove the heavy burdens imposed by the Pharisees and to oppose the studied disbelief of the Sadducees. He even tried to restore the pre-Exilic monolatrism of the Israelites. (Monotheism is a human invention.)

Not even just Horus. Look up Apollonius of Tyana, and Mithra.
