TREND MICRO is "OK" to me but the best anti-virus out there to me is Kaspersky Anti-Virus, I've had since last year and I would recommend it and I have no complaints about it, Thank god I got this AV and uninstalled Norton

There are definitely better. If you are after a suite, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is very good - and is considered one of the best. How are you for RAM? If you needed something light, ESET NOD32 is very good and has a very small footprint.

i would go with nod32. i use it myself and it does an excellent job without slowing my computer down. i used trend micro about 2 years ago and it really slowed my computer but i dont know what it is like anymore and i guess it depends how fast your computer is (and my old computer was much slower than my one now) you could download the trend micro demo and see how your computer handles it
