how do you style your hair to look like scene emo hair

hello ^_^ well my hair is thick! and is layerd like a mullet hairstyle (don't worry it isn't the one in like the 80's !!)it's just layerd more at the top, anyway i'm getting it cut again but just layers everywhere. i just need help straighting it and styleing it, i'v done it before but it didn't work out to good

when i straight it, it looks like a wig coz it goes fuzzy (i'm starting to but in leave in conditioner to protected it) and when i style it, it dosn't hold when you tease it and put hairspray. well thankyou for reading, (my hair is really stubborn)

when you straighten ur hair u need hotspray.i use and it keeps down the frizz and it doesnt make it look like a wg.another problem could be your flat iron.if u want it 2 look good and u have the money but a chi.they r amazing and are only 129.99.hope this helps and also if ur emo or scene, no offense, u'd no how to look emo scene and emo is not a kind of person it's a music genre.no offense again, but im not emo and i even no that.
