Thread: Have you ever started a fashion trend?

Fashion trends come and go, but I was wandering if you've ever started one?

I started one this year at my school. We have to wear navy blue and white polo shirts and it was considered dorky if you did up your top button. One day at school, me and my girlfriend where wearing our polo shirts with the top buttons done up as a joke. I managed to convince a few other people to play along and eventually everyone began to do up their top button. Everyone, including me, began to prefer it to leaving our polo shirts unbuttoned and so it became the new fashion.

There's my story. Does anyone else have any stories about when they've started a new fashion trend?

yes. I started to do my hair in a certain way, it was very unusual!! i just made it up and a couple of the girls are like how you do that, not long after nearly the whole school was wearing my hair-do
and another one was with pants, the pants down the bottem were really dorky, so i just rolled it up a bit and everyone did it too..
