Thread: fashion research paper topics :]?

i'm doing a long research paper (15 pages) starting next week and i want it to have something to do with fashion because i'm really interested in it. but i don't know what exactly to focus on. my teacher wants our topic to be in a question format (example: what causes birth defects? etc)

You could do a paper on one of these:

1. How does fashion run the world?
2. How do economic issues shape fashion trends?
3. What makes fashion trendy?
4. How does fashion extend over decades / What causes fashion/trends to come back in style?

Your topic question could be: What/who inspires your style? Make sure to have controls such as grade in school, age or gender. By having controls, it makes your question comparable.

I would ask several different people this question and then write about your responses. Look for things that everyone had in common and also look for differences.

If you're looking for a deeper topic: Fur/leather or faux fur/leather. Make sure to ask each person why and if they live their decision.
