Thread: Do you agree that cutting has become a trend?

I just don't understand "cutting." Yes, I understand that people do it because they are hurting and don't know how to deal with their emotions properly. But...my question is why has it become "trendy" to do it? It seems like more and more teenagers are doing this when ten to twenty years ago, not many people had ever heard of such a thing.

I know someone who cuts herself and because many people her age do it, she thinks it is totally normal. STOP IT, PEOPLE! It is not healthy and it doesn't matter if all your friends do it, it is ridiculous and will not solve anything in the long run.

How can we make this epidemic "untrendy?"
